About Hand and Paw Project

Canadian artist Deborah Groenheyde has a vision to help sustain Shelters and Animal Rescue Groups Worldwide.  Deborah's ability to capture her feelings in her art can now be realized in the Hand and Paw Project's™ Icon.  A portion of the proceeds from every purchase is given back to Shelters and Rescues in need.

Her dogs Moka and Java, were a great inspiration to her. She rescued them when they were 7.5 weeks old from a shelter on Maui. Their unconditional love flowed through her, and thus the vision for this magnificent piece of art came to life.

This beautiful work, acknowledges the relationship that humans have with our animals. The Icon is of her hand and her dog Moka's Paw. Moka passed over Rainbow Bridge back in Jan 2015, and so her brother, Java, has become the Ambassador for the Hand and Paw Project.

There are many ways you can get involved.  Either corporately or individually.

All of the items are affordable and are a wonderful way to support the rescues and shelters worldwide.  Pets are vital part of our everyday lives, and by purchasing one of the many items offered, a portion from every purchase will go towards helping your furry 4-legged friends.    When items are purchased from this site, approximately 10% of the proceeds or products will be donated to a Shelter.

Along with this, a portion from every sale on a wholesale level is also donated to worthy organizations.  If you know of an organization in need of assistance, kindly contact Hand and Paw and we will do our best to assist by directly donating products.  This applies to all Non-Profit Organizations, and is subject to approval.
